Our Savior Lutheran Church was an outcome of a merger of Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church and Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on April 27, 1969.
Pastor Walter Galbraith, mission developer and first pastor of Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church, served as interim pastor of Our Savior from 1958-1959. Pastor Russell Snyder and Pastor Vorkaper preceded Our Savior's first pastor--Arthur Mallin.
Pastor Darrel Johnson saw us through three buildings on Gus Thomasson, Town East near Galloway, and our present location at 411 N. Town East Blvd. in Mesquite, Texas. Pastor Anderson served as Associate Pastor in the late 1980's. We are thankful as well for Pastor Vince Nelson as interim pastor after Pastor Johnson left.
We are truly blessed with our current pastor, John Schelter, who came to us in August, 1994.
