Chairs the Welcome Face Committee to welcome visitors and newcomers to the congregation. Plans and organizes the annual October Pet Blessing event Reviews the Sunday worship attendance to identify new and potential members and coordinates through the Welcome Face Committee to give them a call or visit. Calls inactive members who have not attended in past 3-4 weeks.

Evangelism contains the word "evangel" which means the Gospel or the good news of Jesus Christ.  Our Savior Lutheran Church has endeavored to be a "welcome place" where the Gospel is learned and shared with visitors as well as congregational members.  This sharing of the Gospel takes many forms: welcoming all who enter the front door, being open to meeting a visitor or someone not yet met both before and after the service, following up with visitors to acknowledge their visit, inviting friends to worship, and certainly sharing our faith story with others. Our Savior Lutheran church also has many events throughout the year that are inviting to all who wish to participate and truly make it a welcome place.
